Your search for records begins with the global search bar at the top of each page. From the moment you click the search bar, search starts delivering results. When you click the search bar, search provides you suggested searches and record previews. These results are based on your recently viewed records.

Use Search Manager to navigate and view all your searchable objects and fields. Use global search in Setup to find specific setup records, such as the Lead Source picklist or the Sales Rep profile. Global search differs from Quick Find, which finds pages within the Setup menu, such as Account Settings or Profiles.

Open the Salesforce Authenticator mobile app. Your Connected Accounts list is displayed with a search box at the top of the list. Note You see a search box only if you have more than one Connected Account.
