Where can I view my 409A Carta?
Click View 409A to be directed to Carta. Upon logging in, you will see a module on your company account Dashboard prompting you to review your report. To review, click Review and accept 409A. In the acceptance window, review the New FMV and click View full report to open a copy of your 409A report in a new tab.
What is the 409A status?
Internal Revenue Code Section 409A requires that any deferred compensation payment that is made on account of separation from service to a “specified employee” of a public company be delayed for at least six months following separation from service.
How long does 409A take Carta?
The review process can take up to two business days from the date the 409A request was submitted. Valuation on hold: The point of contact given in the 409A request form will receive an email from the Carta Valuations team with questions or clarifications needed to proceed with the valuation.
