Search emails in Outlook desktop app
- Open the Outlook desktop app from your laptop or desktop.
- Above the ribbon, you'll see the Search Bar.
- Click inside the bar, then type the sender's name, subject line, or phrase from the message that you remember.
- Hit Enter or Search to see matching results.
